About My Hope Network

My Hope Network has been an idea that has been brewing for about 3 years, born from a deep conviction that church-based non-profits and social services agencies needed to better connect with each other to more effectively serve their communities.

The idea emerged during a massive restructure at a social service agency. Upon taking charge of a new post, an immediate focus was placed on stabilizing the financial situation. A deep dive into the programs revealed that another branch just 10 minutes away replicated some programs and faced similar financial challenges. Notably, their program significantly outperformed ours, yet organizational leadership wanted both locations to maintain separate programs rather than focusing on their individual strengths.

This experience highlighted the potential for organizations to maximize their impact by uniting their strengths rather than duplicating efforts. One location had a superior program, while our location had another program poised for significant success. By focusing on these respective strengths, both locations could have better served the community in two substantial ways rather than competing in one area.

My Hope Network was born from this experience - creating a place where non-profits, social service agencies, and community members unite to meet their most pressing needs. We're building a network that isn't just useful to each group, but truly offers Hope.
